On this website, you will find out about the Ralph Allen School Sixth Form. We are sure that you will be very impressed with what we can offer you or your son / daughter. Ralph Allen School has a thriving and very successful sixth form. The Sixth Form is an integral part of the school, and we encourage students to participate in the school community. The school provides excellent teaching across a broad range of subjects. Outstanding results are the consequence of high quality tutoring, excellent facilities and the firm belief in the value of the individual. Sixth form provision is enriched by the additional studies programme from which students may choose to enhance their personal or academic profile, or simply pursue new interests. All students take a general studies course which they may pursue to A or A/S level. We encourage our sixth formers to develop responsibility for their own learning. Our academic tutorial system is instrumental in allowing students to fulfil their potential through systematic target setting which is closely monitored by their tutor. Most students who complete their education with us progress to higher education. Our considerable experience in preparation for university entrance means we are able to guide each individual through the challenging selection process, and can support them in the transition from school to university, college or the world of work.
